Call Junction Mitigation Bank

Ironwood Resource Advisors is pleased to announce the addition of the proposed Call Junction Mitigation Bank to its portfolio of clients represented in Texas. Located in Jasper County, the bank will generate an estimated 18,000 stream credits in the USACE Galveston District. The projected service area will include the entire Lower Sabine and portions of the Toledo Bend Reservoir watersheds within Texas. This site currently has Permittee-Responsible Mitigation capabilities for stream impacts in Texas's southeast region (Orange, Newton, and Jasper Counties).

Wetlands are essential ecosystems that provide numerous beneficial functions for people and wildlife, including water quality protection, fish and wildlife habitats, erosion control, and floodwater storage. The purpose of mitigation banks is to provide a source for off-site compensatory mitigation of unavoidable adverse impacts to wetlands, streams, and other Waters of the United States.
