Rattlesnake Mitigation Bank

Ironwood Resource Advisors is pleased to announce the addition of another approved mitigation bank to its portfolio of brokerage clients. Located on the banks of the Trinity River in Houston County, Rattlesnake Mitigation Bank encompasses over 500 acres of restored riparian bottomland habitat. The immense East Texas service area spans portions of multiple watersheds in the USACE Fort Worth District including the Trinity, Neches and Angelina river basins. There are currently over 300 freshwater wetland credits immediately available for compensatory mitigation of impacts to aquatic resources.

The purpose of mitigation banks is to provide a source for off-site compensatory mitigation of unavoidable adverse impacts to wetlands, streams and other waters of the United States within a bank's service area authorized by the USACE under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act.
