Gin City Mitigation Bank

On behalf of Gin City Mitigation Bank, Ironwood Resource Advisors LLC is excited to announce the authorization of another release consisting of 558 wetland credits. These credits are immediately available to compensate for wetland impacts in portions of Harris, Montgomery, Chambers, Liberty and San Jacinto Counties. This conservation project is key to progressing critical projects in regions integral to the Gulf Coast economy such as the Port of Houston and the Mont Belvieu energy complex.

Initially approved in 2013 by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Gin City is comprised of over 540 acres of restored freshwater wetlands in northeast Harris County adjacent to Cedar Bayou. Mitigation banks provide credits to offset unavoidable ecological losses to wetlands within approved geographic service areas. Wetland banks are regulated and approved by the USACE.
